The beloved Samoan nursery rhyme now in a board book!
Lullabies not only soothe infants to sleep but also serve as a repository of cultural heritage. Through these lullabies, passed down from generation to generation, parents nurture a connection to their cultural roots and language, ensuring its preservation in the hearts and minds of their children.
Incorporating storytelling, traditions, and lullabies into everyday life fosters a deep appreciation for Samoan culture and strengthens the bonds within the community, ensuring fa'asamoa continues to flourish for years to come.
Black and white baby books are more than just visually striking; they're also crucial for early development. Newborns have limited vision, and these high-contrast images are easier for them to focus on, stimulating their visual development. Beyond that, they can help in promoting bonding between parent and child during storytime. Plus, they're versatile and can be used in various settings, from playtime to soothing routines before bedtime.
This book is 6 x 6 inches and comes with the musical score provided by Beth’s Notes and a quick reference Gagana Samoa pronunciation guide.

This is our third book from Pepe Faitau and my children love looking at the photos and I love hearing them read and pronounce some of the Samoan words. It provides a great way for them to learn and embrace their Samoan culture. The books are sturdy which is a must for little children. Would recommend 10/10
Very happy with purchase. Recommend highly.
As the grandmother to two Afakasi boys, these books allow me to learn about a culture I did not grow up being a part of. Not only am I able to learn some Gagana Samoa, but I can also help my grandsons to learn their heritage just a tiny bit! And what better way to teach/learn than through stories and books? I look forward to new publications from Pepe Faitau always!
