We believe in being transparent with our intentions and vocal about our values, not just in June but every day. Being part of, or allied with, the LGBTQIA+ community means showing up with consistency, compassion, and courage.
Our first shirt with the rainbow ‘Alofa’ design began as a fundraiser for one of our book projects. We loved the design so much, we knew it needed to carry deeper meaning. That’s why we’re bringing it back this June, with purpose.
To be the best allies we can be, we’re donating 100% of profits from this collection of items to UTOPIA Washington the end of the month. The United Territories of Pacific Islanders Alliance Washington is a queer and trans people of color-led grassroots organization.
Pride Month is a reminder to align ourselves with those who share our values of equity, love, and liberation. As Marsha P. Johnson said, ”No pride for some of us without liberation for all of us.”
