Help Us Bring Pepe Faitau Books to More Libraries

We’re building a list of libraries that carry our board books, and we’d love your help to grow it! Libraries make books accessible to families without the barriers of cost or shipping, and your voice is what truly makes a difference.

We’ve created a simple email template you can use to request our books at your local library! Emailing your local library only takes a few minutes but creates a big impact. As a thank you, if you send us proof of reaching out, we’ll gift you an 80% off discount code for any one book of your choice.

Our books are already in many New Zealand libraries, and we’ve introduced ourselves to libraries in Australia and Washington, USA. But libraries love hearing directly from their communities most, and that’s where you come in.

Thank you for helping us share our stories and language with more families. Together, we can make sure Samoan language books are within everyone’s reach.

Fa’afetai tele lava,

Here's The Template!

Dear [Library Name or Librarian],

I would love to request that our library carry a set of bilingual Samoan–English board books published by Pepe Faitau Books. These titles are thoughtfully created for young children (0-3 years old) and families, and they help preserve and celebrate the Samoan language and culture.

Their six titles are:

  • Faitau Pi: The Samoan Alphabet -- ISBN: 979-8-218-95253-2
  • Moe Moe Pepe -- ISBN: 979-8-218-97178-6
  • O Le Aso Na Va’ai Ai Le Māsina I Le Lā -- ISBN: 979-8-218-96956-1
  • O La'u Tusi Lanu Uliuli Ma Pa'epa'e Muamua (My First Black and White Book) -- ISBN: 979-8-218-97178-6
  • O A’u Upu Muamua E 101 I Le Gagana Samoa Volume 1 (My First 101 Samoan Words) -- ISBN: 979-8-218-96663-8
  • O A’u Upu Muamua E 101 I Le Gagana Samoa Volume 2 (My First 101 Samoan Words) -- ISBN: 979-8-218-80159-5

These books are currently available for purchase directly from the publisher. You can find more information at www.pepefaitaubooks.com

Adding these titles would make a wonderful resource for Samoan families in our community, especially for those who want to connect with or learn the Samoan language.

Thank you so much for considering this request!

Warmly,

[Your Name]
[Your Library Card Number, if needed]
